Orange Bowl Regatta 2.1.0

The Orange Bowl International Youth Regatta stands out as a significant event within the broader context of the Orange Bowl college football festivities held annually in Miami. It provides a competitive platform for young sailors aged 8 to 18. Since its inception, the regatta has seen substantial growth, expanding from 450 participants in 2002 to over 600 in recent years.

Over the past five years, the event has increasingly garnered international attention, successfully attracting competitors from 25 countries and 29 states across the United States. As the largest youth sailing event in both North and South America, it also ranks as the second-largest of its kind globally. Its diverse participation includes sailors traveling from distant locales such as Israel, Japan, Europe, and South America, highlighting the regatta's expanding global footprint.
